Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Flight Sniper ("the Service"), operated by Apledot (Paju, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea), at flightsniper.io and in the Flight Sniper apps. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Flight Sniper, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or 16 in the EEA where applicable) and able to enter into a binding agreement. These terms apply to all visitors and users. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization to these terms.

2. What Flight Sniper does

Flight Sniper is a fare-alert service. We show flight prices based on data from Travelpayouts / Aviasales and email you when a fare matches the alert you set. We do not sell airline tickets and we are not a travel agency or booking platform. When you click a Book link you leave Flight Sniper and buy from a third-party booking site. Booking links are affiliate links through Travelpayouts: we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email; we do not use passwords. You are responsible for keeping access to your email and Google account secure and for activity under your Flight Sniper account. Tell us straight away at support@flightsniper.io if you notice unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, commit fraud, or create multiple accounts to get around plan limits.

4. Plans

• Free — 1 trip alert, checked about every 24 hours, and an optional weekly deals email.
• Premium ($4.99 per month or $39.99 per year) — up to 10 trip alerts, checked about every 4 hours, "anywhere" alerts, a longer travel window, and an optional daily deals email. New subscribers get a 14-day free trial, unless they have already used their free alert match, a free trial or Premium from an invite.
• Trip Pass ($9, one-time) — for one alert that has a destination: it keeps watching after it finds your price, is checked about every 4 hours, and does not use your Free alert. It ends when that alert's travel window ends or when you delete the alert. It covers that one trip: you can change the months, trip length and max price, but not the cities. It is not a subscription and does not renew.

Check frequencies are targets, not guarantees. Plan features and prices may change; we will give reasonable advance notice of significant changes.

5. Billing, trial and cancellation

Premium renews automatically every month or every year, depending on the billing period you choose. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record and may add sales tax or VAT. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.

If you start a free trial, you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. Otherwise, your first payment is taken when the trial ends.

A Trip Pass is a single payment, also processed by Lemon Squeezy. There is nothing to cancel and no further charges.

You can cancel at any time from your account. When you cancel:

• Premium stays active until the end of the current billing period (or the end of your trial)
• No further charges are made
• Your account moves to the Free plan at the end of the period

Refunds. Refunds are made automatically from the Billing page in your account when a payment qualifies: the first charge after a free trial, within 48 hours of that charge; Premium bought without a trial, within 7 days (monthly) or 14 days (yearly); a Trip Pass, within 7 days. In each case the payment qualifies only if no price alert or big-drop alert has been sent to you since it was made, and each account can get one refund. A qualifying refund is made right away through Lemon Squeezy and goes back to your original payment method; a refunded Premium plan ends at once, and a refunded Trip Pass is removed from its alert. The free trial costs nothing: you are not charged before it ends, so cancelling during the trial means you pay nothing. Renewal payments and unused parts of a billing period are not refunded — you can cancel anytime to stop the next renewal and keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country; for those, or if you think a charge is wrong, email support@flightsniper.io. Purchases made under earlier plans (Pro, Plus or the 3-Month Pass) remain subject to the terms that applied when you bought them.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and in line with these terms. You must not:

• Try to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers or related systems
• Use bots, scripts or other automated tools to scrape, crawl or extract data from the Service
• Resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service or its data without our written permission
• Create multiple accounts to get around Free plan limits
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service to send harmful, fraudulent or misleading content
• Reverse engineer or try to extract the source code of the Service

7. Intellectual property

The Service and its content, features and functionality — including the software, design, text, graphics, logos and trademarks — are owned by Apledot and protected by intellectual property laws. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes under these terms.

8. Trademark notice

Airline names, logos and trademarks shown on the Service belong to their owners and are used only to identify carriers. This does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship by those owners. Flight Sniper is not affiliated with any airline.

9. Third-party services and affiliate links

The Service relies on third parties, including Travelpayouts / Aviasales for fare data and booking links, Lemon Squeezy for payments, and Resend for email delivery. Next to fares we may also show "Plan the rest of your trip" links to travel partners in the Travelpayouts network, such as Booking.com, Agoda, Hostelworld, Airalo, Discover Cars, GetYourGuide, Viator, Klook, EKTA, VisitorsCoverage, Kiwitaxi and Welcome Pickups. When you click through and complete a booking via an affiliate link, we may receive a commission; this does not change the price you pay. Bookings, rentals, eSIMs and insurance are sold and provided by those partners under their own terms. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Prices and disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Prices are found automatically and can change at any time; a fare we show or email may no longer be available, or may cost more, when you try to book. Availability and final prices are set by airlines and booking sites. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of price data and are not responsible for losses from relying on it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apledot and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, missed fares, data loss or other intangible losses resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or $50 USD if you have not paid us anything. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so some of them may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Apledot and its operators from claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of anyone else's rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Service, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe breaks these terms or harms other users, us or third parties. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers and limitations of liability — will survive.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation. If that fails, the dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

15. Data protection

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes by email or with a clear notice on the Service at least 14 days before they take effect, unless a change is required by law. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.

17. Miscellaneous

These terms are the entire agreement between you and Apledot about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our written consent.
